Have Faith in Your Journey

Years ago, I was slogging through an awful art show day. A major sporting event nearby drew everyone's attention and almost no one was in attendance. One of the few present was an older gentleman, also an artist and unaffected by the mood of the day, who noted I liked animals and said he'd be back. He later dropped off a treasure trove of photo clippings of big cats he'd collected over decades he said he'd no longer needed. 

This tiger was on the cover of a calendar from the 80s. It reminded me that, even when it felt like I was down in the dumps, things were on their way to being alright and taught me a major lesson around attitude, outlook and expectations.
